That's What Happens For Playing Games!

I'm a bit fallen right now.
You see, I went to an acquaintance's birthday party a few weeks ago, and while there met one of my acquaintance's friends, and happened to talk with him all night, and really get to like him.

So it occured to me to invite my acquaintance, along with his friends (who is the one who I met at the party) to the movies this weekend.

It was the perfect excuse to get to see this guy who I liked again, while not having to seem terribly obvious, seeing as I have known the first person for several years and he (the acquaintance) had already told me that if I was every free, or bored some time that we should go out.

Weeell... now I just confirmed that that they can make it and it turns out that the guy who I like (er, the real reason for the whole invitation) can't make it, and it seems the most natural thing that I go just with the guy who I've known for quite some time. (He's confirmed the time and everything, and seeing as I made the invitation I can't back out.)

    Well, that's my rant.
The two problems here is that...
This acquaintance had "asked me out" before, and even though he did it really casually it still occurred to me that he might be... well, I dunno, a little bit more than "just friendly."
And the second is that I've been dying to see this guy that I met at the party for two weeks, and now I don't get to! :,(
I'm floored. And I have to go out with this guy whose basic intentions aren't QUITE clear yet.
    Harrumph.
Oh well. sorry for the rant.

But at least I learnt something.
The next time I really like someone, I'll ask them out straight, without making any maneuvers like this.

But boy, I never knew I could feel so disappointed! :(
