Telling my Best Friend

I have been with a guy for 2 weeks and 4 days now, and one of my 3 best friends still does not know. the reason i have not told her is because she HATES this guy i'm dating with a passion.

you see, we have both dated him before. i dated him 4.5 times, and she did 5 times. but the last time he dated either of us was 1.5 years ago...and we recently got in contact, and we've both changed a lot [for the better].

thing is, my best friend will murder me when she finds out i'm dating him. just a few days before i started talking to him again, she was telling me how much she hates him....

i hate keeping secrets from her..and from everyone else. because my other 2 best friends know..along w/ my grandma, but no one else does because i dont want my 3rd best friend to find out.. x.x

so i guess, the bottom line is.
what is the best way to let her know without her having to murder me..??

Just tell her....there is no way to soften the blow.
you can only hope she will get over it soon.

Lol. it was awful..i havent told her yet..yesterday i had my party and my other 2 best friends know. and vikki [the one who doesnt know] started talking about how much she hates logan [my bf] and all my other 2 besties were glancing at me like.."uh ohz..i see what you mean" lol.

havent told her yet...is there anyway..i can tell her without telling her straight up..? haha. or would that be stupid and make her madder?

I know. and i dont think shes over him either, even though its been a year and a half since shes even seen him. but..-shrug- she likes to make a big deal about things.
i think my prob is, i dunno how to make that come up in conversation simply..lol. not just like..randomly iming her and saying "yeah ive been dating logan for almost 3 weeks. just thought you'd like to know. k bye" lol

You both went out and broke up with him numerous times, so it is not like there is no past there between them, obviously at some point in time he wasn't bf material or it would have worked out with one of you. The only way to prove he is a different person is to be upfront and honest and that starts with you telling her what everyone else already knows. Yeah she'll be mad, but if he is changed and truly treating you right, eventually she will come around.

If she is really your friend, she will just want you to be happy. End of story. I don't think it would be that big of a deal, oh well if she doesn't like him. You obviously do and that's all that should matter. As long as your happy screw everyone else.

If you guys are really best friends then she will understand. (she will probably be very mad.) But with time she will get over it..
