I hope a lot of people are active. I need ideas and I need it quick, give me everything you got.

I have a serious mind block, and can't think of anything. I have 2 weeks left till her birthday, I have a *spare* $69 at my disposal so far, and getting more.

C'mon ladies, tell me what you girls like.

Men, tell me your ideas that actually got success.

    Cmonyou guys, save my arse.

Go with what you know she likes, perfume, music, a show, a concert, make her dinner, a private picnic, write her something, there are a million things you could do, but only you know what she is into.

Mmm...i like this!!! ok...get away from the usual teddy bear stuff...we girls have no more space in our rooms for any more of those stuffed animals!!! lol

ummm...u can try perfume, accessories...a lucky charm for instance!! maybe a key chain, and u can get two of them, one for u, and one for her, each with some kinda initial the both of u have in common!!!
tickets to a romantic movie, then probably a nice dine in a fine restaurant!! maybe take her somewhere where u can be alone, then u can read her one of ur poems, or a letter...this can be accompained by a rose...

and just so that u know...gurls don't always say "oooh...look he loves me...he bought me tha super expensive present" it's not always about the money dude...sometimes it's the essence..

good luck and tell me how it goes!!!

Just stay away from hardware and tools. I've learned girls don't appreciate a good set of tools, lol. I say take her out and prepare a romantic getaway of some sort. Nothing fancy, just enough to say you thought about her and that you wanted to be alone with her and that you actually enjoy being with her. I think that always is the best gift. If you can get her something to remember you by, that would be good. Doesn't have to be expensive, just expensive enough to last more then two days.

I love getting roses and jewelry....but the thing that makes me fall hard for a guy is when he comes with something totally creative and something from his heart. So cmon! I know you'll find something great! As long as its from you truly..she will love it.

"The best gift you can give her is the one that you can think of your own."

^I totally agree. Funny you mentioned the poem, I do think wrting her a poem would be a great gift. It would be personal that way and it would come from the heart.

I actually find it a bit pathetic that you're asking on here. But uh jewellery is always good. Some women like flowers. Take her to a spa?
In any case, don't worry about doing the 'right' thing. Just spend time with her and show her how much you care...with words not money.

Well what I'm doing for my boyfriend and my anniversary gift * and it still works for birthdays lol* is I'm writing a small thing I love about him for everyday we've been dating like..."the way your eyes light up when you smile" or "how you can never find your second shoe" lol Just odd little random things about him that I love, then a break apart heart and key necklace the each of us gets a part of. But then hes a huge romantic so he loves things like that :) Uummm...he bought me a dozen flowers for every month that we'd been dating for my birthday with a little teddybear holding a heart shaped box of candy, I absolutely loved it :D It all depends on what kind of things she likes

It's not all about spending money, so chill out a bit. Keep it simple and light, and just have fun. No need to go over the top.

Okay... when it was my gf birthday, i had no idea what to get her, no idea what to do...

so on the day of her birthday i got with me $200

not knowing what was going to happen that day, i went to her house picked her up in the morning, and was driving... then i asked her "are u up for anything" she was like "sure"

so i took her to an empty road, where few cars go, and i taught her how to drive... for the 1st time she drove, and she loved it... so i told her happy birthday, and kissed her...

Then i took her to the beach, and we spent the day there, then i took her out to lunch, and we went to a hotel...

it was a nice day! she loved it...

in the end of the day, my gf told me that she loved it all, and i didnt need to spend that much money, that she would have been happy just to see me on her birthday... even if we just went for a walk... she would have been happy...

Hmm well u COULD just get a hotel room, but hmm i dont no i think it lacks.... punch.
so if u aint gonna use that idea and no1 else's idea suit, u could try putting all the pix u hav of u 2 together in a collage.
or help her track down her birth parents if she was adopted.
    ok hope it helps =)

Seriously if you're on a budget i think a picnic in the park would be awesome.
splurge a bit on candles and roses and she'll love it!
for a gift to end the night get her a charm-bracelet, with the first charm being your first initial.

i would love it if a guy did that for me!

"or help her track down her birth parents if she was adopted."

^That has to be the most random 'romantic' idea I've ever seen. :P
