Does he still love me?

Every night we IM each other and lately I've been pretty irritable. It's all because of things going on at home. Sometimes when we're IMing he seems distant. Like he wants to be doing something different. He tells me he misses me. The other night though he was with his friends and I called him and all of a sudden he goes "My friends say that I should break up with you. What do you think about that?" The whole time I'm thinking "What do you want me to do? Jump up and down and clap my hands with joy?!?!?" I just start crying. I just started crying. I couldn't control it. I don't cry often. He means the world to me and I don't want to lose him. What do I do? Does he still love me? We're out of school so we haven't seen each other for awhile. I miss him terribly though. He just doesn't seem all that excited anymore? Is it because we've been together for awhile or is he growing distant?

JERK! That is all I have to say dear. HE may not be a jerk, but what his friends turn him into isnt pretty. You need to talk to him and tell him everything..and I do mean everything. His friends are obviously all idiots and i'm assuming that they don't have brains if they don't see how he feels about you. My advice would be to talk to him and completley ignore his friends. James is right..who gives what his friends think. All that matters is what he thinks, and if he can't see that then he's clearly not a man.

love isn't game and you can't just press the stop button and everything will be cool
honestly, i know how u feel, my ex was the same way, we tried to make things work 5 times and he still remained the same, and all because of his friends and him wanting to be like them, we are over and it hurts terribly.

sweetie i think u should talk to him and he may come off like a "jerk" but its his friends.
you love him and he loves you and no friend can come between that!!!

Maybe you should try to give him some space. Me and my boyfriend jsut went through this so we took a break. He told me he loved me but he wasnt "in love with me"..whatever that means..but regardless, we were "on break" for about 2 days when he called me crying saying he was sorry and he never meant anything.

-he might just be feeling like you're trying to take him away from his friends and steal all his free time. Talk about taking abreak if that interests you, i know it hurts but sometimes works.
