    -The Garden-

    In rich soil tilled fields
    There grows a garden
    Of ambiguous tensions

    The plants that bloom
Bore so many qualities of life
    Their colors fluorescent upon
    The blue beveled sky

    That presence which beams
    From a multitude of incarnations
    Is such a potent force
To the likes of a heart

    This garden is enchanted
A rare water meets it's presence
Drizzles upon the razor tipped leaves
And makes it's way to reach the roots

    Where roses will inevitably bloom

    Ocean View.

As I look out the window,
I see the flawless outlook of the ocean.
Extending various miles in both directions,
Portraying such a ravishing image that could never possibly vanish.

The numerous lights that glow in the midnight air,
Is just a spec of what I can perceive.
The stars in the sky radiate brightly throughout the whole sky,
And reflect like a mirror's image upon the glistening ocean.

The sun descends slowly beneath the clouds,
As a diversity of colors loom.
Crimson, indigo, and violet fuse and collate within the stars
    To exhibit the ocean's view.

The many waves that shape the ocean are spiritless,
They have hardly any disturbance among them.

As I start to shut my eyes,
I see a painted picture in my mind.
It's of the ocean view in the city,
that I can see perfectly out my back window.

    My Spot

    Frogs hopping in the pond
    Lily pads
    Rippling with excitement

    Trees are singing
    Dancing in the breeze
    Calling to my spirit

    Flowers in bloom
    Lacing my mind
    With their intoxicating fragrance

    These moments take me back
    The grass under my feet
    Inhaling creation

    Quiet moments
    Conversing with Mother Nature
    Absorbing her beauty

A treasure in this reckless world
    Serenity, peace
Trapped inside a growing concrete box

    Lucid Designs

    by NyellMoonlight

    Silent, whispering zephyr
    slithered down the skin, freely
    exploring lost and found hopes,
    caressing soul with secrets concealed;

Fingertips plunged into the pupils of green,
with ivies enwrapped around the heart, peacefully
    touching senses with vivid grace,
embracing teary sunsets of raw emotions.

    Verdant magic within single kiss
    weaved motions of spring affection,
sprinkling divine fragrance of herbs between tunes,
    constraining spherical, godlike obsessions.

    The Tree and I
    by KindlyUnspoken

Mother planted it in the garden,
    Right next to my window.
Being just a young child myself,
I like to say we grew up together.
    When I was cold, I'd see it shiver;
    Winter chills disturbing us both.
In the summer we'd grow taller
And embrace the happiness around us.

Mother died and I was left alone.
Having never married, it was just us left.
We grew tired and we grew weary,
    Our skin thinned, hair loosened.
The summer just took too much energy
And that final winter was too much to bear.
Our health suffered and our world became fare,
Nobody ever knew that we had been there.

    Unperfect

A quiet day in the midst of December,
Oh, where have all the singing birds gone?
I see them not, I hear them not,
Their cheery whistles at the break of dawn.

The snow, such fluffy white elegance,
Why is beauty now forever soiled?
By machine driven fast over icy roads,
Nature's sweet gifts are now uncoiled.

Rising to sunrise, soon peering outside,
Why do slushy grey piles of despair abound?
Cigarette butts, and pieces of garbage,
Picked up by the wind and tossed all around.

But how is it that litter gets swept up,
And carried on by the rivers' sweet drift?
It is our fault, alone, for we are humans,
And we are nature's most unperfect gift.

    "The Four Seasons"
    by: Briana Coulter

    The children pick flowers,
    that grow during the spring.
    Roses, lillies, tulips and more,
the sight is a beautiful thing.

    The sun shines so bright,
    during the summer season.
It lights up part of the earth,
oh, there must be a reason.

The leaves will drop from trees,
and into piles we'll make them go.
During autumn, kids will be kids,
they'll jump as their faces glow.

    The snow will fall softly,
    and blanket the grass.
    We'll also make snowmen,
    even though winter will pass.

    These are the four seasons,
    and they repeat every year.
    Your favourite will be back,
so there is no need to fear.

    **Nothing special. Meh.

    ~A Leaf's Descent~

    Ground bound air born leaves,
    falling angstly from the sky.
Caroming off each branch they see,
as a final muse, for they'll soon die.

    A breeze through aged greenery,
is the wind's final solemn song.
It sways the leaves so tenderly
    for now, their life's prolonged.

    Their predetermined destiny,
leads to a life of apprehension.
    Floating above ground and sea,
    in an almost motionless suspension.

    They swagger to the ground,
their dance with fate has ended.
Their new home has been found,
    now that they have descended.

    My Rose
    By:Savannah Kate

I was a rose in a garden of many thorns
Until the day that love was born
His hand touched my heart, giving me hope
He picked me up, untying the thorn rope
I'm his rose whether he knows it or not
I'm his rose because he protects me
I'm his rose because he set me free
I'm his rose because he gave me his hand
I'm his rose because he's the right man
The red rose whispers of passion
The white rose whispers of love
Oh, the red rose is a falcon
And the white rose is a dove
But I send you a cream white rosebud
With a flush on its petal lips
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on its lips
    In this storm of life
    Stands the white rose
    Tumultuous waves
    Of destruction abound him
Yet tall is the white rose
    Strong in the face
Of the sensed doom around him
    And he doesn't bow down
    Pure is the white rose
    In the compost earth
    Growing internal strength
In the nights that so hurt
I see not the white rose
    He is so far away
But i long to protect him
But only the words i can say
So I send him my words
    And all my heart
    To help him when
There is no hope to see him through
    Be strong little flower
    Your heart will guide true
    As long as you want,
    I will always love you...

    Natures Brilliance

The rising of the sun in the still moonlit morn,
The singing of the larks in the beautiful dawn.
The heralding call of a brand new day
Sees natures brilliance, in pure display

The rippling tide of the everlasting sea
The wheeling birds, who fly so free
    The dreamless fish,who swim evermore
Sees natures perfection, it's shapeless form

The setting of the sun in the evening peace
The final farmer, taking in his final fleece
The sun no longer shines out bright
As carfree day turns to everlasting night.
