MTV (totally peeved!)

O.k., i am really fed up with MTV! Wasn't that channel made for the purpose of playing music and music videos? (hence "MTV") Instead all i see are corny reality and staged date shows! (have they thought about changing it to RTV?) i am really dissapointed in the direction that station has taken and i am refusing to even land on that channel for even a second. i would love to hear the oppinions of others on the matter, because i'm starting to think i'm the only one who has noticed...

Obviously it doesn't decrease their viewership so they could probably care less. I don't know about MTV but our music station (Muchmusic) offers channels dedicated to certain genres, so there are many channels available. I know my younger cousins don't seem to care because they watch The Hills, My Super Sweet 16 and such. You tube has music videos lol

I agree, it has all those reality shows... it bugs me... because it was supposed to be made for music videos but look what has happened... i still watch it once in awhile.... its rare when i watch that channel but i do sometimes....

MTV Hits and mtvU

Those are 100% music all the time...thankfully

Other than that, MTV doesn't have any "all music, all the time" branches. It's sad, because MTV used to be entertaining...now I can hardly stand it...ugh
