EOP

Hey everyone,

After a long confusing and frustrating time of trying to get this club back, it is now up and running. There hasn't been a lot of activity lately, most likely because the old members have moved on and not many others know about it. So, I just wanted to get the word out. If you are interested the group is called Ecstasy of Poetry. This was once a really great club, and I'm hoping that it can be revived!

I'm pretty sure we are still looking for another assisstant as well, so if you are interested you can apply.

I agree. I used to be a member of EOP and switched when things got the way they did. It no longer fit what I was looking for in a club, but best of luck, I hope you do get it back how it used to be. If you do, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I meant a more precise explanation, not just "things got the way they did". Eh.

It strayed from a poetry club to a drama club

It did turn into a "drama club", but not only that. The original manager made the decision to step down for personal reasons and then the group voted that I should be the next group manager (or owner, leader, whatever you want to call it). I tried for a long time to get it going but it never seemed to work. Then one day I logged on and for some reason it just seemed to work again. I have no idea why it started working months after I set it up, and it still confuses me to this day, but hopefully people will start to participate soon. There seems to be a good number of members, and I've posted a link in the discussion board about starting a poetry contest (I remember they were a big hit in the old EOP) but no one has responded yet.
