Question about WIN button

So sorry as I know this must have been explained somewhere, but really can't find it... On the home page where it says 'The winners of our weekly poetry contest' what is the WIN button for? I assumed it meant that I was voting for something if I clicked it, but it doesnt say anything to confirm that so was just wondering... So sorry for being stupid! Thanks
