What should I say?

Here is what is going on....
My brother was with my cousin this weekend and took my cousin to go fix this problem he had with this guy, he wanted to go talk to the guys dad since he was threatning my cousing and he is a minor. Well they went to the guys house and he tried to run them over, and then his older brother came and followed my brother and cousin and then shot my cousin... he is ok and out of the hospital already.... but my brother is like in shock. He is never been a part of a shooting,involved in any what so ever.... but he seems scared to death since the guys are looking for my cousin and want to hurt him... and they know what my brothers car looks like...
How do I get him to open up to me?
or What do I say to him to be more calm...
I dont know what to say, I was in shock myself because just the thought of losing either of them drove me crazy....
I need suggestions... anyone would be good...

I couldn't agree more James. There is nothing you can say. He will open up to you when he wants to. If something like that happened to me, I can't say I would be open about it either.

Just let him know that you are always there, like James said. And do small things like give him tons of hugs :D

Yes. Just let him know you are there for him if he ever wants to tlak or if he needs anything. Tell him you will do your bet to help him whenever he needs. it. Let him know how much you care just don't be a pest about it. Like some people try too hard to get others to open up. Maybe he just needs a bit of time.

I definately agree. Someone was shot for crying out loud! Thats a crime. Go to the police. Have that son of a b*tch arrested and get a restraining order. It might sound bad, but if they are really looking for your cousin, then you are all in danger and you are better off protecting yourselves.
