I would like to know who watched the DNC last night and tell me your thoughts on the subjest that Obama touched during his speech. (You're more than welcome to say what is on your mind, but please respect other peoples opinions)

To tell you the truth, I almost cried at some parts because it was so powerful, I personally think that Obama and Biden will be wonderful in office. Even if Obama only does 25% of what he promises it will change American and help not only some but Everyone. If you like McCain, thats great, its your opinion but in my opinion i dont see anyone else in office but Obama.

p.s. Please respect others opinions, we are all human. Thank you for your feed back, One Love.

I watched the DNC and thought it was a powerful speech by obama. There were moments when I was thinking "wow". He is right in some aspects, this is not a red country or blue country, it is a united america. But, the trouble is it's not united. He spoke on the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King and it was a pivotal moment in history. However, I don't think he nor Mccain are actually suitable for the job. But that is only my opinion. I was once a strong republican and had conservative values. I tend to be middle of the fence of now....McCain would have to pull a rabbit out of hat to beat Obama.
As a voter, I am not sure whom I will vote for. I know you can't rely solely on the president because everything has to be before congress.

I believe in equality, pro-life, and consider myself a Christian. In doing so considering myself a Christian am I backstabbing my religion if I agree or disagree with abortion, gay marriages, stem cell research, and other controversial issues.
I may find abortion repulsive and believe that know matter who you choose to love or what sexual identity you choose is yours. Wouldn't it be more Christian just to "not judge"

Anyhow, that may be off subject but it is a concern as to whom I vote for. I will have to outweigh my likes and dislikes about the issues and see which will promise more and as usual "likely not deliver on them"

Any man can say anything, but I firmly believe if you give someone your word you should be held accountable.

Obama's running mate Biden was found to have told the story about his 1st wife and 18 mo. old daughters death and his two sons were critically injured. He told some that it was a drunk driver that killed them. It was released that that was never proven, and that the driver had been released of any charges because there was no alcohol involved. They say to not judge the past of this but to me what kind of character would lie about it. Along with all the cheaters and womanizers it seems so typical of politicians.

    End of story

Glad to see some one responded and in good taste. Im glad to see someone that is openmind and not really aafraid to say anything. I see how you feel on the whole religion subject but if you notice that the pros out wieght the cons, and about the Biden subject...WHO cares, i mean it could just be another big rumor... you can never trust what you hear sometimes.
    Thanks for your opinion!
