Do you find it strange?

Okay here's my question. do you think it's weird if a girl wears guy clothes. and i mean clothes that fit, not jeans/shorts that hang way down, and not huge shirts. they fit but their guy clothes. so i guess my question is: would you talk bad about a girl to your other friends because she is wearing "guy" clothes?

  • Beautiful Chaos

Ah no, why would anyone talk bad about another person just because she wears "guys" clothes? I would steal my cousin's pants, sweaters, t-shirts, what not and sometime even shop in the guys section if I saw something I liked, who cares as long as you like what you wear?

Well it's the same with me. no, i don't like skin tight pants and shirts. i was just wondering if people talk. i know just the group of people at school who would too.

I don't judge people by their clothing. These two twin girls are good freinds of mine and they wear guy clothes that are baggy and not excatly applealing for their bodies (considering they are gorgeous) but I still love them as I would any other friend.

It's really all the same nowadays.
Some guy clothes have flowers and girlish stuff on them and jeans and trousers are the same for both genders, as for topps, it's not much of a difference.
I don't care about appearence, I wouldn't talk about my friend behind her back for that.

Well yall are makin me feel better. my mom was just giving me a hard time about it, me wearing guy shorts i mean.

so now i have another question: do you think it would be weird if a guy wore girls clothes? i don't know any, i just want to know what you think.

Lol it's funny you should ask these questions. I wear my b/f's clothes all the time. I even catch him slipping on some of my clothes. He and his friends were wrestling the other day and he was wearing one of my thongs and his pants fell a bit. I was watching and instead of laughing in his face, the other guys laughed and gave him props for it. And it's completely normal at my school for girls to wear guy clothes. So I guess it all depends on what your in to.

I don't find it strange at all, I mean come on, if it fits, it fits. I wear both guy and girl clothes, and if my friends talk bad about it, they're not my friends. There's nothing wrong with wearing whatever you like.

"do you think it would be weird if a guy wore girls clothes?"

To each their own, if they like it, they should wear it.

I think its hot when a guy wears girl clothes. one of my best friends is a guy and we'd switch clothes all the time :)
my ex shops at spencers and he came to school on a regular basis in their "one legged pants" and while not many guys could pull it off, he looked amazing!!!

Ha ha well i have a really close friend who is a guy, I'm a total hippy and he is like a emo/punk/confused boy anyway i always take his shirts and tie them up so they look sexy then dress them up with a belt and lots of costume jewelery and he always wears my skinny jeans, we do one another's make up etc and i find it such fun. i think that if you're comfortable in what you're wearing hen that should be all that counts

I have a guy teacher at my school who wears a skirt every day because he thinks that clothing should be gender selective and wants gender equality etc.

Some people laugh/talk when they first see him/don't know him, but the ones who do know him respect him fully cos he's such an awesome and smart teacher. Also because it must take so much to just freely wear a skirt not only in public but it a high school beacuse it's what he believes in.

Personally I don't find it strange at all. People should be able to wear whatever they want and not have people judge them.

Personally I think it is completely wrong to talk bad about someone. Everyone is entitled to what they want to wear. When you judge/ talk about someone because of the clothes they wear, that is just proving that you yourself must have low self-esteem and your not happy with your own life.

Most of the time when people talk bad about others they are just trying to make themselves feel better. You may say it's weird for a girl to wear guy clothes, but that is your opinion, that gives you no right to run your mouth. Thats how all the drama starts and problems evolve!!!

I wouldn't talk bad about a person to my friends in general. So what is she wears guy clothes? If that really bothers you then you need to get out and experience life.

Sometimes I do wear guy clothes, only because they're comfortable!!!!

  • Pamela

Hell no would I talk bad about a girl wearing a guy's clothes! Guy clothes are way more comfortable!! I love girl clothes though, because they make me feel feminine... But I do sometimes wear my brothers stuff, when I'm just chilling and relaxing, because they're slightly bigger and way more comfi to wear to chill and relax... And I'm not afraid to go outside in his clothes...

I kind of like guy's clothes. What girl doesn't like the idea of cuddling up in a boy's sweater?

But really. I have a few shirts that were made for guys. Sweaters, crisp button-downs over some jeans.... mixing feminine and masculine. Sexy? Who knows.

  • Heba

Well, sure am not going to talk bad about them, coz they are free and I used to wear boys clothes too,but now I think that it doesn't suit the girl coz some girls look really sweet and cute and girls clothes relly look nice and amazing on them, but again everyone does what he likes.

Here is another question:Do you think it's weired when boys wear girls clothes?

  • Elizabeth

Wow... We have many forms of discrimination; age, gender, sexual orientation, language, religion, race, skin color and disabilities... Fashion sense? Sure, why not add that to the list...

No, I do not think it's weird if a girl wears guy clothes; fitting or not. If it's what they want to wear that's their choice. I would never, and have never, talked "bad" about a girl to anyone about her wearing guy clothes. I do not judge them, and never have. Why would I? I'm a better person than that. Besides, I use to wear guy clothes, and sometimes still do. Most clothes are made, and considered, unisex now; in the stores and society.

I think the same thing can be said for guys who wear girl clothes, although I know for certain I wouldn't be ecstatic if my boyfriend decided to want to wear girl clothes. But, if other guys decided they wanted to then, like I said, it's their decision and I won't judge.

When people say that a person shouldn't care what they look like, in reference to that they shouldn't care about how others see them & what they think, I agree (although I also do agree that first impressions are essential in some situations). But what I can't stand and think is sad is how some people don't care about what they look like & don't bother to take care of themselves. For example: I know this guy who doesn't wash often; himself or his clothes, so his hair is always greasy, he reeks of body odor and his clothes are stained. And he doesn't care. I also know this girl, who is much like the guy above, except that she says it's her style. To me that's not a style, that's just bad hygiene.

Really what exactly the difference? I mean I wear guy clothes for work because apparently these businesses around here don't think girls farm. Just in my experience.

It wouldn't be different if a guy wears girl clothes like many guys do. So whats so different with girls wearing guy clothes. In my opinion they fit better and more plain then all this writing that some clothes have on them now a days.

It's truly up to the person who decides which clothing is better for them and fits better for them. There's nothing wrong with wearing guy clothes.

Around here many girls wear clothes designed for guys, and no one bats an eye lid.
But if a guy were to wear a piece of female clothing people would start to talk.
    I don't understand it.
As someone said, everyone to their own.

I steal my brothers hoodies to wear to school the whole time, comfort.
