Daniel Alexander: Nope. Perhaps on her first CD that's true. On Stripped, Christina wrote all but two songs - one which was written by Alicia Keys, and the other, 'Beautiful', which was written by... I can't remember the name. That may have been the woman in Four None Blondes. Christina's music isn't pop, by the way. It used to be. |

I don't care about 'remaking' oneself. I only judge genres based on what I hear. For instance, I thought No Doubt was a lot more rock oriented when they first began. Now they're more pop. There's no law that states an artist is and always will be under the same genre they first began, especially if their music changes. You can't honestly compare the sound of Genie in a Bottle to Walk Away - unless you're tone-deaf, or unless you're just being plain stubborn. |
