How to be Unavailable?

So um i like...well pretty much am in love with my bestfriend and for the past year we've been dating without saying we were dating. So one day i finally got the "balls" to ask if he liked me. Well to my surprise he doesnt. so i'm kinda like i don't know freaking out because he pretty much gets his way with me. He is mad physical with em and he does or says anything i never really say no. well excpect for well you know. but anyhow my teacher told me the reason he might not like me is because i'm always available. and i shouldnt be anymore

How the heck do i become unavailable? He is one of my closet friends and i think he would know if i just stopped talking to him. And to be honest i cant see us hangin out with out him all over me. Its weird. Does that make me kind like his hoe kind of. haha thats weird hmm. Any advice or am i just being a whinny baby?

What's the point in going out with someone, when they can just hang out and get all benefits of a relationship without actually having to commit? Which is what it sounds like to me. You can't really freak out about it when you allow it to be that way. If he has no interest in you , your are better off just drawing lines and looking for someone who actually wants a relationship, if that's what you are looking for.

I think deep inside you refuse his rejection I mean the fact that he doesn't like you and you are suffering inside so you want to catch his attention by all means and you want to be important and wanted.
if you see that it is a hopeless case don't lose much more time and move on and remember you can't make someone love you.

I agree....drop him. All this can really lead to is a heartbreak. Find someone who likes you for who you are. Being "unavailable" is not going to change his mind.

Thanks amanda that makes alot of sence. I'm actually dating someone right now which is a huge step for me. I still have feelings for him but not as much. but thanks everyone for the adivce. it really helped!
