This wont take long... My parents are divorced and i was unwillingly living with my dad for a couple of years and i just moved to live with my mom. I started a new school and i left my old life behind but the thing is I'm so bad at talking to people.I'm extremely shy and i have a hard time talking to people and socializing... We've been in school for a month now, i know its not much but i haven't made much friends and i feel so alone... i hate my dad and he is constantly annoying me even though I'm not living with him anymore but my mom wants me to have a clean page with my dad because she says that she wants my brother, sister and me to have a good relationship with my dad... I love my mom and I respect her so I listen to her but sometimes I just can't keep it.. and right now I'm just feeling so alone and i know that to some people they have worse lives but one question.. what would you do if you were in my position?

It is never easy making new friends, especially when your shy, you just have to learn to come out of your shell, I was the same way once. Talk to people in your classes, find common interests and eventhough you are not feeling your dad right now atleast you have a parent who wants to encourage a better relationship.

Well about your parents, just tell your mom that you respect her wishes but you just cant have the kind of relationship with your father that she wants you to have because....and tell her why. shes your mom im sure shell understand. and as far as being shy, maybe join a group where you wont be in the spotlight or something but that you will get to meet new people. i was always a "tomboy" so i joined the stage crew, we built sets for school plays and we did stuff behind the scenes. its a good way to meet people but not feel overwhelmed
