Hey Fellas..

A question for you all.

Would you prefer it if.. a girl was to tell you she liked you and were to ask you out... or would you prefer her to not tell you.. and slowly/gradually show you signs that she does like you and would like to really go out with you?

I always hear boys say they love confidence.

but i find shy more attractive.

What I do that tends to work best is I show gradual signs and if I get good responses then I tell them. If not then I wait it out and gradually press on with the little signs

It's weird cuz when there's a guy I like I go right for them, but when it's a girl, I get super shy and hope they ask me. Girl's just take away your breath some times and can be super intimidating, even to another girl!! lolz

Guys always say they wish the girl would ask them out, but i used to ask out guys ALL THE TIME and i never got a yes. lol. they said it was weird =| so i dont know..

How often that is true in confession cases like these is questionable.

I prefer to tell them straight up though.
It usually throws them off guard. Or sometimes, it's even intimidating. Some of my guy friends even told me that if a girl asked them out, it feels like they're taking away part of their manliness because it's "supposed to be the guy's job."

It's nice once in a while to be approached and not just hinted at. It does throw us off because our mind-set is tuned to doing the approaching when we're interested. That's the social norm.

It's a smarter thing to do to read the signs all the time. Some girls would approach but only so far. It's a fine art knowing what to and what not to do in courtship. Of course reading signs goes both ways. All about communication and chemistry..ahh chemistry, the science of the composition, structure, properties, and reactions of Love ;). .

I actually don't mind if the girl is the one who asks me, for the basic fact that I'm terribly shy. So, most of the time when I like a girl, I can't get myself to ask her out.
I've heard a lot of girls say they like confidence in the guy, that they expect him to ask... but everyone is different I guess. Just I'd find it a lot easier for me if a girl asked.

I love it when the boy is straight up with me about his feelings. I've never been one to make the first move nor have I ever asked a boy out in my entire life. If the guy I like doesn't get that I have feelings for him, however, I'll try dropping a lot of signs trying to get through his head that I like him lol.

That didn't quite work out with my boyfriend now, though. We actually never spoke to each other. But I thought he was so cute and found myself staring at him in 6th period every day. He did have a girlfriend so I didn't even try talking to him. Then one day a friend of mine in the same class was gonna move away and asked for every guy I liked in the school. So I told her about him. That day when I left the class to use the bathroom, she told him that I liked him. We started talking, writing notes, him and the girl ended up breaking up, and we got together and have been happily together ever since =)
