Winter Formal

Ok so it's not much of a problem, but I'm still not quite sure of what to do. I like a guy and he knows it and he might like me (emphasis on the like), and I feel like I should wait for him to ask me to winter formal, even though I'm already planning on going with friends and i've bought my ticket and all that. But at the same time, there is another guy who is really nice to me and i think he likes me, but I don't like him like that. SO my question is, should I wait for this guy (and how long do i wait?) or should I just ask the other guy who's really nice. I don't want to lead him on.

I went with my friends... The guy who is really nice, isnt so nice all of a sudden, and the other guy said he couldnt afford to go, so oh well. Maybe next year?
