You're not TOO old. Who's telling you you're too old, friends of yours, hers, parents, her parents, siblings, or...? Honestly, there has been far greater age differences other than simply your 2yr one. If you think she's ready & that you are ready too for a relationship then by all means. It's up to both you & her to make that decision.

My parents are 7 years apart. I dont think age really matters. I'll be 15 soon and i've dated a 17 year old, its really not that big a deal, i don't think. as long as she's mature enough to handle the relationship, its your guy's choice. Good luck if you choose to get together.

Two years isn't much at all. In my state, as long as you're only three years apart, it's perfectly fine and still legal, even if it's like a fifteen year old and an eighteen year old. I know plenty of people that date people a lot older than that even. As long as you two feel like you're ready, and she's emotionally mature enough--and so are you--go for it, because these people that are telling you not to aren't the ones that want to date her.

Two years is not a big difference....AT ALL. And who cares what people say. Do you like her or not? Because if you did you wouldn't care what people thought. Remember.....all that matters is what YOU think and how YOU feel. No one else has any say in your decisions. Do you think you are too old? Thats all that matters.
