    What should i do?i always feel sad,,and almost evrynight its so hard for me to fell asleep,,
    like im alwasy depresd but i dun know why?

    Did anything bad happen to you lately? Like.. something that could cause you to be depressed? Or... are you really stressed?

    You're probably having a hard time sleeping because you are stressed.

    Like Chaotic Angel said did something happen?

    Idk how you feel about meds, but to help you sleep you can get over-the-counter sleep aides or you can go to your docter and see if he/she will prescribe you a sleeping pill.

    I was so stressed and depressed before that I couldn't sleep at all in the night and my docter put me on some different meds.

    You might try talking to a counselor...thats always helped me.

    I use to have trouble sleeping when I was younger & feeling depressed too (depressed from actually taking medication). I started listening to music while I slept with the volume low enough for me to just barely hear it yet quite enough that if I fell asleep it would not wake me. I would focus all my attention on the music; the instruments, the lyrics, etc. I also know a breathing technique that worked too. They both helped a lot. Try it. It may help.

    Or it may not. Depending why you feel depressed. You said you don't know why. I know some days I feel "depressed" just because, when there should be no reason to be... Sometimes the smallest & insignificant things have the biggest effects on our emotions... There are some techniques you can use. On days I feel I am "depressed" just because I use these techniques (& something more):
    1) Do something physical; a sport, workout, run, walk, house work, etc., that requires your concentration. This will help rejuvenate your body & mind; relieve stress, steer your mind away from troubled thoughts & more.
    2) Try changing your scenery. If you're in a dark room open some blinds or turn on a light, go outside & go explore someplace you've never been before, etc.
    3) If you're alone put on some music; preferably something up-beat, or find someone who you could spend the day with or meet somewhere.
    4) Try eating something sweet, tangy or even sour to alert your taste buds.
    5) Evoke your sense of smell. Your sense of smell is an easy route to your emotions & is one of the most powerful ways to bring back memories. Light some candles, bake some cookies, spray the house with Febreeze, etc.

    All these & more can help. Like I said before, the smallest & insignificant things have the biggest effects on our emotions. Like-wise this can be for the good. :)

    I also go through times where nothing actually happens but i sit and think about things that have happened and just become so sad and depressed. go get out and keep your mind occupied. often it is when you have to much spare time that you begin to think about everything and that is how you become depressed like that.

    Sometimes it's stress or lack of excitement, do something exciting your body needs adrinaline. If it's stress than relax or do something relaxing every once in a while.

    Chaotic,
    ahm i cant figure what is it,that make me feel like that,,everythings seems like a depression,
    this feeling only out when am buzy but after that feels like im really tired of everything and feels like all things ive done was a mistake

    im so sick of meds,
    i need to take alot of meds coz of this stupid asthma,
    and i cant find someone that will answer me sriously like evrybody answers me like dun wory ull get well soon,,

    yea music it helps alot
    but im kinda tired listning of them coz sometimes it makes me more sad,,lol

    i tryd those things but lyk a sed befor after that it comes up to "what now?"
    yeah questions,,so many questions comes on ma mind like "whats my purpopse here in this world?
    am i doing ryt?"why it feels all i hear from everybody is pulling me down?why they only see all my bad works,thats why im afraid to speak out to anyone what i feel,,

    I know what u mean...I sometimes feel depressed for no reason.. i usually just sit and listen to some music and sometimes it makes me even more depressed and i cry and sometimes it makes me feel better..or maybe u cud try to find out whats annoying you and try to solve it or sometimes writing makes me feel better.You cud try that.. hope i helped.

    Well you know when you are depressed many thoughts come up and you generally don't understand why you feel or think that way, i mean other people can be there to support you but the only person that can help you is yourself, self healing is the first step to recovery.

    when i feel depressed i look at my life and everything that has happened in it and then i look at the lives of other people and realize how there is always someone out there who is going through so much more than me.

    when i was in a facility for bulimia and anorexia i became so depressed but they made me take a picture of myself and i had to write down all the good things about myself, it helped so much. but yeah go write, talk to people, listen to music and just read other peoples stories, makes you realize how everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle...

    Another thing, sometimes you could just be going thru a difficult time in your life... or bad memories are coming back, that happens to me sometimes. Have you been sleeping well? If you haven't that might actually be a reason, for sometimes if you don't get any sleep, your brain can't work through your problems self-conciencly as well as it would normally.

    You might also just be way to stressed out, i know if i have a billion things on my mind all the time i start to freak out and then i get really depressed for no reason.

    I only sleep well when am drunk,,lol
    but its ok even im not that drunk ahm maybe 2 bttles of beer will work and it feels like its singing a song for me to sleep,,xD

    yah thats true a lot of things keep playing on my mind so many things bugs me and its quet freakning,,but thanks to you guyz im getting rid of it,,slowly but helps a lot,,tnx *hugs and kisses*

    Lol. Above you mentioned everyone you talk to tells you not to worry & that you'll get well soon. In a way, their right. You're young, you got your whole life a head of you to live & look forward to. You won't feel this way forever, this is only a small episode in your life. You just have to make the best of it, try to understand & control it. In time; sooner or later, you will move on; life will move on. I know, I felt that way before too; that I'd feel this way forever & that nothing could change the way I feel. But I waited, for the very reasons that I stated; that someone else stated to me. In time they; I, was proven right. :)

    Just go and take more time out for yourself, i think that people have given you some pretty good advice which i am sure will help you a bit just what ever you do, don't go on anti depressants i mean that yeah i am sure that they do help many people but i am sure that you are a strong, willing and determined person who can get through this.

    just know that no matter how hard things may get for you, you are never alone!!!!
