Anyone ever have issues with taking meds like feeling numb? I take 4 now and they're prescribed for anxiety and depression and i feel like they've taken away who i am, well, who i was. |

I once had to take a drug call risperidone, but i stopped taking it after about a week, because it made me so spaced-out, i was totally scrambled. Apparantly i looked it as well, so i stopped taking it, because it didnt work for me. |

I think if you are nto happy with them then you need to see a doctor about changing them. i presonally dont really agree with them. i was meant to be going on meds but i didnt see the popint when eventually you have to come off them. |

The doctors prescribe you things because they think that its a chemical thing so the chemicals in your body are reacting differently than they would normally so in a sense, they made a version of you. Make sense? Also, what they most likely gave you was a mild sedative, pretty much a very weak tranquilizer to dilute the depressive, anxious thoughts you have. |

I personally don't like taking my meds. I'm on meds for schizoaffective disorder and what really sucks is that I can't feel true happiness. On the plus side I don't get super depressed but after a while you just want to feel more than just being content. |
