Hello everyone. So earlier today I was with a friend and we were txting my boyfriend. We were joking around and such. But then the conversation got a little more serious. I was asking him questions and such and I asked the question "would you take a bullet for me?" |

Edit: I didn't really answer the question before. I don't think it's necessary for people to automatically want to give their life for their significant other. Most people are not strong enough to do that, and I don't think its a bad thing. Plus, I would guarantee that many of the people who say they WOULD give their life for somebody, probably wouldn't be able to do it if that situation came up and they had to make a split-second decision. |

Just because your dating someone it doesn't mean that they have to give their life for you. |

Yeah, just as everyone has said, just because you are together doesnt mean he HAS to give his life for you if the circumstance came to be. |

I think it really depends on the person. You can't automatically expect someone to be able to take a bullet for you. It depends on how much they love you which is a long process. Sacrificing your life for someone is something that's really difficult to grasp. I would take a bullet for my parents that's for sure but taking a bullet for someone else, that really depends. |

I hate that question. its like being at the doctor's office with your parent standing right next to you and the doctor asking if you drink, do drugs, smoke, or are sexually active. you know what the answer is supposed to be but if it wasn't what are you gonna do? feel awkward and possibly lie |

I think you never really know until maybe you are in that situation... I would take a bullet for my friends and family and I would take a bullet for my boyfriend, but he would do anything in his power to make it the opposite, because I know for a fact that he would take a bullet for me... |

I think that might be a trick question. I would never want someone to die for me.. i would like someone to push me out of the way of the bullet and not get hit themselves because they don't want to leave me all alone :) I don't think i would even ask that question.. PLUS someone can love you with all they have and still not die for you, self preservation can be a funny thing. Also.. At least he was honest, i know a lot of people that wouldn't tell the truth from that question. |

Oh, also, I've had four years to think about it, and there is only one person i would risk my life for. One that there is no doubt. So yeah... I also think that that is a question not one person can answer on the spot like that. |
