help with a cutting problem

I really need help on with a problem that has come up in my life. The thing is I am cutter and my dads best mate picked up on some nasty scars on my arm, he said ‘Have you been cutting your arm about?’ and I just looked at him and didn’t break eye contact for ages so he must know what I do. But I have to see him a lot and he’s really kind and sweet so I want to tell him about it, but I’m not sure if he would freak out or tell my parents. Help, what should I do???

Yeah you should tell someone, maybe not your parents if you dont feel comfortable telling them, a councillor or something instead maybe. Oh yeah and forsaken is a girl on her profile jescelle. Lol sorry just a bit of useful advice!

As people have already posted it is best to talk to a person about this, comeone who you feel comfortable with.

I know im a cutter and it helps to tell someone but its even harder when your rents find out. If some1 doesnt already know tel him if he can help you and keep it from your dad...but i dont know if ya wanta talk, email me acusack89@yahoo.com

the thing is, i need to keep my family safe from all the crap that goes on, thats why i thought of tellin a family friend, hes really kind and he would deal with me cutting better than my mum and dad would.

say you fell out of a really sharp tree or you fell into the gutter while skate boarding. i told my school nurse, she saw my cuts. i told her that i fell out a a tree and it was a tree w/ a lot of sticks and she bealived me youd be surprised what people beaalive if you give enough details.
