I saw the Book of Eli the other weekend, it wasn't bad, I enjoyed it for the most part and I liked the little twist at the end.

Ha yes Britt, that's why we chose that one, you usually can't go wrong with Denzel and I didn't realize until they actually showed you the book it was religious either.

I watched the Book of Eli the other day as well. Good apocalyptic atmosphere, so in general not a bad film I thought.

Although the last time I checked, if you get shot through the stomach, you are *not* able to get up and go jogging to the ocean, let alone start rowing halfway to the next continent.
Faith is a strong force to be reckoned with, but it doesn't stop a bullet from killing you. :p

Finally watched Law Abiding Citizen last night, I am still not sure I liked the ending, but I thought the rest of the movie was good and Gerard is always nice to look at lol

I watched Law Abiding Citizen too and didn't care much for the ending either but it was definitely a movie that beat my expectations.

^I wasn't fond of Shutter Island, it kind of disappointed me.

I did however watch Precious the other night, great story, a real tear jerker.

I watched Alice in Wonderland in theaters. The animated Alice in Wonderland (1951) was one of my favorite movies as a kid, naturally I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the new Alice in Wonderland (2010), although it should have been Alice [returns to] Wonderland; Johnny Depp playing the role of the Mad Hatter was a plus, haha. I think my favorite character, in the 1951 animated version, was the Cheshire Cat. One of my favorite lines from the 2010 film was when the Mad Hatter lets the Cheshire Cat borrow his hat and he has to give it back. He says, "Goodbye sweet hat." while vanishing into thin air. Haha.

    I'd also seen New Moon.

I go see the Twilight movies, but they always disappoint me lol I guess it is rare for a movie to stand up to the book.

I did enjoy Alice in Wonderland though, i didn't see it in 3D or anything, but it was good, Johnny was a good hatter and I liked Alan Rickman as well.

    Hey everyone,
    did u watch Avatar???
All time favourite. Expecially in 3D.
    Loved it.
I also like twilight. The way to like a movie based on a novel is not to read the novel first but to watch the movie. The movie can only be of 2 - 2:30 hrs. The novel is so long. They cant put each tiny detail in the movie.
I loved Harry Potter and Twight before reading the novel. and I loved it.
I was a little disappointed at Harry Potter and the Order of Pheonix and Half Blood Prince because I was expecting too much as I has already read the novel.
But I loved New Moon because I didnt read the novel.
    I hope I'm not confusing...

    Anyways..everybody has his/her choices. I have Mine
