I would really appreciate it if ya'll would pray for my boyfriend and I.We are having a really hard time in our relationship right now.He got arrested Saturday night for underaged drinking now his past as came back around to him.I bailed him out Sunday night and found out that he has a 3rd degree assault charge against him for about a year ago back when he was having a really hard time.We have to go to court today and it is possible that if he is found guilty that he will have to spend no less than a year in jail and/or pay a $2000 fine.He made mistakes in his past like we all have and now that he's actually trying to straighten out and get his life back in order,it's all coming back around to him.He really has changed and he is an amazing guy so your prayers would be highly appreciated by us both.May God Bless you.

"He got arrested Saturday night for underaged drinking"

^^This isn't a sign of changing, hopefully he gets through this and really pulls it together.

    ^ I second that.

Though he is "trying" to straighten out his life it is no excuse to excuse whatever it is that he did. Whatever it is he did he has to pay the consequences for & has to take responsibility for his actions/mistakes, it can't be overlooked.

My prayers go to whoever it was assaulted.

I completely disagree with all of these people..
we dont know all teh details of your life or this guy's..
i will definatly send you both my prayers
people do change and drinking is a touchy subject.. it can be extremely misunderstood.. i pray that it all works out in the end..
everyone has skeletons in their closet and it sucks when they come out to haunt you.. i understand that whole heartedly.. hopefully he really has changed and i will pray for you as well as him..
    good luck with everything

Change does not happen in the blink of an eye.It is a process that is slowly worked through. And as for whoever said something about they pray for the person who was assaulted, maybe you should have got the whole story first because he deserved to be hit.My boyfriend,Hunter, who all of you except one are judging automatically, was defending one of his friends who is paralized and in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. The guy was messing with his friend, slapping him, spitting on him, etc. and Hunter stopped it.And if that makes him a bad person for standing up for somebody who couldn't stand up for themselves,so be it.But as for the drinking thing,he's 19,he's going to drink a little and he only had a couple of beers. It was bad timing and a big misunderstanding. But,for those of you who are understanding and good hearted people I appreciate your prayers.

Wow.. for real, all of you are rediculas.. people come to you for prayers to help them in a time of need.. weather it is completely justified to you or you agree with them has nothing to do with it.. if you dont want to pray, then dont but you dont know everything about her story or what happened in her life so dont criticise her.. seriously.. how do you know if he is a raging alcoholic or if he really had just a few beers..? you dont..
grrr.. pple judge and steriotype so easily..
pple make mistakes.. they cant help it
    no one is perfect..

I disagree with everyone here..I will for sure get down on my knees tonight and pray for both of you. Every body makes mistakes. The world can't be perfect. If what she said is true and he is trying to straighten out his life, it was just unfortunate he got caught. Every one likes to relax sometimes and drinking a little bit was just his way of doing so. I hope all goes well.

"Every one likes to relax sometimes and drinking a little bit was just his way of doing so"

Anyone can relax any way they wish, but when you drink underage or partake in illegal activities, there are consequences that must be accepted, end of story.

God's testing him to see how serious he is about changing. I will pray for you but know that God is bigger than all of this and as long as you both believe...God will take care of you both. I hope your relationship works out.

I agree with the above post! God is ALWAYS in control. If you are not close to him, he will test you. Be strong and stay in the word. The bible will help you through so much! i will definitely pray for you : )

Thanks to the people who have prayed for this situation. As for the others, you are entitled to your own opinions so thanks for wasting your time to post as well.

As for the situation at hand,Hunter is no longer drinking, he quit cold turkey after all of this.He is living with me(paying rent) and working with my parents. My whole family has taken a great liking to him even though he has had hard times in his past.Everything turned out to work for the best.So thank you for all your prayers.
