Did you ever loose someone?

Ok, i konw this is really stupid. i actually started just rambling in one of my posts about how i have fallen *cringe* in love with one of my best friends. Sadly, he doesn't look at me that way. He thinks of me as a little sister. and he is leaving me to go to college next year. Have any of you ever lost someone you thought you loved. Advice would be really nice right now.

I'm sorry thats happened to you...It always sucks when you fall in love with your best friend. Its so hard to deal with! I've been through the same thing. When I fell in love with my best friend I didn't even realise it until he went back home to his family. It broke my heart to see him go. I never told him I loved him. I decided to keep it to myself. But he ended up telling me he loved me one night and that was the night I admitted my love for him as well. We are the best of friends now. And have been talking for 3 and a half years now. But that was just my expierence. My advice to you is that you don't have to lose him. You can always attempt to keep in touch. And maybe when you feel the time is right ask him to meet you somewhere and before the night ends surprise him with a kiss. Or you could leave him a little note through email or text messaging that says something like "I just wanted you to know I've been thinking about you a lot lately and I really miss you". Or you can keep it to yourself and try your best to be his friend when he needs you. Just give yourself time to think. I'm sure you'll know what to do. Goodluck!

Oh, there's one other thing that makes this thing a little bit worse...he has a girlfriend, and we don't exactly get along. things are really awkward around us three when we're together.
