Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it. I don't personally know what it is about (no offence), but I hope you're all having fun

As I dont celebrate Thanksgiving (its not known in New Zealand) i will firstly say happy thanksgiving...i am thankful for my bestfriend who tries to understand me and my mum and brother.

We dont have it in the U.K but wish we did. i am thankful for the chance of life and for my friends and being lucky enough to have the health i have. x

To xToBeWithYoux, figured I'd tell you what it's about.

Basically it's a day to give thanks for the good harvest and spend time with your family.

The "first thanksgiving" is said to have been after the brutal winter the pilgrims had in plymouth, Mass. The nearby natives shared some of their crop with the pilgrims and they scrounged for what survived. Then they had a meal in Thanks that they survived the winter.

Or at least that's pretty close to what it is. lol

Happy Thanksgiving!!! ...now I can't wait till Christmas! lol
