Frist off i'am sorry about the miss spelling. The reason i have brought this up is that resently i was faced with this problom and just wanted to know what other people thought. And your right God will be the one to say if it is right or wrong. Thank you for everything you have posted and keep them coming like me it could help someone.

n e how Heather, i do find it okay as long as it was for the reason of rape or finally unstable but if you were out just being irresponsible then you deserve this child. Gotta say its up to the individual, we can't judge them. we don't know how they feel.

I don't mean to be insulting here, but what does God have to do with someone getting pregnant?....there is no miracle in childbirth, no more than eating food and then going to the bathroom to poo it out.

I don't believe in God. I never count on doing either. Carrying a baby is one of the biggest things a woman can do. This is should be something that she ctually wants to do. If having this baby is going to ruin her life, then she shouldn;t have the baby. Also, if the baby is going to be brought into the world by some 15 year old rape victim who is barely living off welfare and can hardly feed herself, is it really such a good idea? Another thing, you say that aborting a baby iskilling it, well in a way, if someone doesn't want to have a baby and you force them to have, you are killing them, not literally, but youa re taking away their dreams and hopes for the future.

i feel everyone is a litle more aware of their options and i am supriced by some opinions. this has a big change for me (having a baby and all) but i would not change a thing she is perfect. Even with out a father!

I think it is garbage. If you spread your legs you should deal with the consequences. Simple as that. I don't respect people who think that killing an innocent child is ok and justifiable, it's not. I think if you can watch your child be sucked right from your body then you are a sick and twisted individual. A baby is a living thing from the time of conception and it's not ok if you do it in the first couple months of pregnancy. It's wrong period!

If a woman doesn't want to have a baby she should take precautions. (Condoms, birth control, abstinence.) Abortion is NOT birth control. It is wrong. If a baby would ruin her life she should think of that before she has sex. Carry the baby full term....give it up for adoption. So many people want babies but can't physically carry one of their own. It's not difficult to find babies happy homes. There are other options, abortion is wrong. Murder I believe.

But what if BEING pregnant will ruin their life? Carrying an embryo and a foetus around fornine months is no easy task.

my only question on the topic is where you settle the conflict of rights. A woman has a right to do what she will to her own body provided she doesn't harm herself, and provided her action isn't illegal.

And every person has a right to life.

So I guess what I'm getting at is this:

Birth is a unique situation when it comes to...well just about anything. Because it involves the creation of life, and because we are assholes, it has become neccessary that we define when life actually begins. Is an embryo an organism? It certainly can't sustain life on its own. Does it have life? What is life?

The situation grows out of control as more and more philosophical questions stem from this legal one.

If whatever you are killing doesn't register that they are dying, according to me, it's not murder. The thing is, the embryo does not really know it is alive...can it know that's it's dead?

The issue has come up in the lives of people I most dearly care for also. (My sister and my very best friend.) They both had abortions. My sister who had hers 11 years ago can't even talk about it. Since it happened, she and I talked ONE time and she told me that her baby would be 9 years old if she wouldn't have been so damn stupid. My friend cried to me 6 months later, telling me for the first time. She didn't know what to do. She hates herself for doing it. She KNOWS her life would be so much different had she not done it. Her life would be a lot better because she would still be with the man who got her pregnant. See she never told him until afterwards. She moved out of the state and when she came back and told him he wanted nothing to do with her. I know what it does to people’s lives. I think it's garbage. Whether or not your opinion is for it or not, I think abortion is garbage. So YES, if you don't think it's wrong then to ME your opinion is GARBAGE. Sorry don't mean to be rude but I feel strongly about the subject. Unfortunately I also know a couple dit wits that use abortion as birth control. No matter how you look at it it's garbage. The only legitimate reasons for abortion are if a woman has been raped or could be physically harmed by carrying a child. But even then I don't think it's RIGHT. My sister-law-in had three kids. She didn't carry any of them full term, she knew there could be complications whether it be to her or the baby, but she took the chance all three times. The life of her children was more important than her own safety and well being. That's a real mother. A real woman. No one could tell me any reason that would be good enough to KILL their child. Every child deserves a chance at life and if you can't give a baby that then don't open your legs, simple as that.

this can be a very touchy subject but I belive that it is the mothers choice... now that doesnt give her the right to just have children all of the time and then abort them but it gives her an option... besides when it is time to do the procedure it isnt even a real baby its just a bunch of cells. At the top of the page, Ness made a comment, and I really agree with her. I'm not for abortion, for many reasons, but if it posed potentially fatal risks for the mother or baby, or if she was raped, then I believe abortion should be an option. There's pros and cons to every issue.

If you had read all of my post you would have seen that I said there are two reasons in which I could only see abortion being CONSIDERED and they were if a woman was raped or if she or her child would be in harms way. I don't think it's right either way but I could reason with a woman who has those for reasons. Like I said before my sister-in-law went through with three child births knowing her risks. For someone to say that a baby is just a cluster of cells when abortion takes place is ignorant. It's a LIVING being upon conception. And if that were the case why are so many girls devastated because of seeing a babies limbs sucked through a tube during abortion? I don't care who you know that has had an abortion or for what reasons, like you I am only stating my opinion. My opinion is that it is murder and it is wrong. And I too know people who have had abortions, people who are filled with regret. People who HATE what they did. Financial dependency isn't a good reason to kill a child. I know lots of people who are very very unwealthy with kids who are some how making it happen. Living in public housing with minimum wage paying jobs and being able to feed and clothe their children. It can work, but you have to be dedicated and work hard. There is NO excuse for it. You can't argue with me, because your point of view will never be clear to me. I don't give a rip how you and your friends feel, I know it's wrong, period.

And I know what it does to people who don't give babies that chance, just like the girl right above me. Being raped is a painful experience but becoming pregnant because of it is even worse and still she wishes she would have kept the baby. Really I don't mean to be rude, but personally I believe there is a miricle in childbirth. Without God there is nothing, was nothing, and there will never be anything.
