Alonee.

I look around, i read poems and quotes.
and so many people feel alone.
maybe if all the alone people met,
they wouldnt feel alone anymore.
why do we feel alone, when we clearly have some one,
sometimes, things just are not good enough.

I feel alone when i relaise its the people who are meant to love you and care for you that dont, and the people who arent meant to do. leaves you in a very lonely place. xx

If everyone could meet and everyone would, i would happily meet and talk with everyone.

The reason sometimes i feel lonly and sad has nothing to do with the fact that im alone i could have people around me and still feel that way. I personally think it has alot to do with depression. Hundreds of people in this world has a medical problem called depression and it makes them feel lonely and sad but many people have depression and they just dont know it.

There is a difference between being alone and being lonely

You could be home alone but still be talking to friends on the internet so your not lonely

Or you could be alone with someone you like/love which would be the complete opposite of being lonely

We all need to learn how to love ourselves and be happy in our own skin inorder not to feel lonely... that is that hardest thing to achieve.. overcoming ourselves is a battle we all neglect to fight

Good way to put it. No one is truly alone ever but inside we might feel like we are.

I often feel really alone because most of the people either walk out or die but coming on this site and reading through other peoples poems and quotes really helps a lot to see that there are people who feel just like me and who understand what i go through.

this site makes me see that I am not alone and there are people who go through way worse circumstances than myself. so just wanna say that you are all beautiful, talented and amazing individuals with so much talent!!!!

I think that we all do feel alone,believe me there is no person on this earth doesn't feel alone and why?

Well,I think that god created each human on this earth have a different personality even if you see some people are so similar,but there must be something different.I think this is the reason coz I feel alone Coz nobody in the whole world understands me or tries to feel what I feel...

Well I found out... that when someone says: "I am alone" they really aren't.

Maybe at that point, but NOBODY is EVER alone. There is always at least ONE person that loves you and cares for you and if you are trying to deny this, you are not thinking clear. EVERYBODY has at least ONE friend/family member they like. And if not (which doesn't seem very likely to me...) they're prolly just isolating themselves, because it can't be true that EVERYBODY hates/dislikes you. You are just not looking for people in a proper way.

Seriously, I think people who feel alone need to get over it. Yeah, some people are truly alone and I feel for them. For some it's hard to get out and do things, because of mental stability. And, I wish the best to them. I hope they can snap out of it and/or make a good friend. But, honestly ... majority of lonely people aren't truly lonely. They feel alone in the world, but they're not. And, they need to just get over it.

Basically what I have been saying, lol =P Just with a little bit more harshness, but I completely agree... The "Lonely" people are usually not lonely at all and I find it rather rude, impolite or maybe even selfish that they call themselves lonely. I mean, hello!!! They are just forgetting about all the people around them, that's a really pathetic thing, when you come to think of it.

I feel alone caz most of my frnds have left the place where i live in...my parents wont understand anything...their expectations are sky high....what irritates me the most is that no one understands..i've never asked for a favour..nor do i treat anyone rudely..i try to help every1...be polite and graceful...and what not...but everyone is just so rude..man i hate this...

^ As human beings we are, naturally, needy creatures; needy in this case & sense of companionship.

I find that a lot of people who say or think that they are alone really aren't; they've either hid themselves away from anyone & everyone else or have already convinced themselves that they are alone & believe they always will be, & are unable see or think otherwise.

And like someone above had said, I also think the main reason people feel alone is because they're dealing with issues like uncertainty of identity, lack of self-confidence, etc., etc. Basically, they don't love or accept themselves.

This I know from experience; when I was young. But luckily for me, at a young age, I began to look at the positive side of things. As I grew up & matured I realized how untrue those kind of statements & beliefs were.

I'm not sure why I feel alone. I'm always surrounded by people, either frieds or strangers, I'm rarely alone though. But I feel like it's just me here and no matter what I do I'll always just be me. It hurts to know that i have friends and family, but I still have this stupid feeling of aloneness.
