    Christmas Morning (Song)
    by Italian Stallion

    Christmas mornings
    The day you left me
    But it wasn't intended
    To be that way

    But you felt the need
    To leave my side
    And you needed room
    To re-align

    Through all my life
    I've been with you
    I asked myself
    What happened to us

    Why did this
    Have to happen this way
    Christmas day
    Is full of joy

    And now on this
    Christmas morning
    I sit alone
    In disbelief

    But you felt the need
    To leave my side
    And you needed room
    To re-align

    Christmas mornings
    The day you left me
    But it wasn't intended
    To be that way

    I want to tell you
    That I love you dear
And my hearts been with you
    Through all the years

    And through all my life
    That I've been with you
    I've been writing a story
    To hand to you

    Christmas mornings
    The day I would have
    Read this story
    To you my love

    Candlelit dinner for two
    All dressed up
    And down on one knee
That's how the story was meant to be

    Christmas In Heaven
    by Italian Stallion

    Through out the years
    You've always cared
    Brought family together
    And never compared

    Took people in
    With open arms
    Cared for them
    As if they were yours

    You were always smiling
    Didn't matter what happened
    You always warmed the room
    With your happy smile

    On this given Christmas day
    Tears start to roll
    As we say good-bye
    To the one we loved

    But, your love for all
    Will never be forgotten
You will always be with us
In our souls and in our hearts

    May you rise up
    To the heavens above
    Give your love
    And watch down on all

    Lovely

  • Beautiful Chaos

    Creeping down the chimney
    Came Santa with a smile
    I pretended to be sleeping
So he might stay a while

    Watched him stacking presents
    Prayed he wouldn't go
    Before he ate the cookies
    I had to say hello

    I said, I'm sorry Santa
    Wasn't good this year
    Just wanted you to know
    Before you disappear

    He said, now listen Jenny
    You try your very best
    Nobody is perfect
    But truly I'm impressed

You came to say you're sorry
    But Santa knows you are
I see what you are feeling
    Even from afar

    Save your words my child
    For the ones you love
It's they, who need to hear them
    And what you're thinking of

He hugged me with a warmth
    I've never felt before
Then I woke up in my bed
    A present on my floor

    Unraveled came the ribbon
The note said, "Just for you"
I wondered what could be inside
    This little box of blue

As I opened up the box
    My heart began to race
Love poured out into the air
    Christmas found its place

Inside my heart and in my home
    Just where it should be
    Love enchanting everything
    We touch but cannot see

    Silverware of Christmastime.

    Spoons do leak the secrets,
    held by bells of joy
that ring, ring, ring the songs,
    of children's wishing toys.

    Forks do whisper nonsense,
    to fragrant mistletoes,
as they behold love to come,
    swept by awes and oohs.

    Knifes do jingle chaos,
    to busybody streets,
that forget the day of holiday,
    standing at their feet.

    Spatula's do solo songs,
    to carol here and there.
    Christmastime all about,
    lingering in the air.

    Greatest Time Of Year~Rictameter

    Christmas.
    Joyful singing,
    Faces lit up with glee,
    Giving hearts touching saddened minds,
    Spreading pleasure like angels rejoicing.
    Couples accepting forgiveness,
    Love long ago destroyed,
    Kindly renewed,
    Christmas.

A rictameter is a nine line poetry form. The 1st and
last lines are the same with the syllable count as follows:

    line 1 - 2 syllables - same as line 9
    line 2 - 4 syllables
    line 3 - 6 syllables
    line 4 - 8 syllables
    line 5 - 10 syllables
    line 6 - 8 syllables
    line 7 - 6 syllables
    line 8 - 4 syllables
    line 9 - 2 syllables - same as line 1

    CHRISTMAS CHEER

    Underneath the christmas tree
    Santa left a note
For he himself on christmas day
Had felt as though he was a joke

    Underneath the christmas tree
    Santa left a heart
He said that he had been hurt
And his love was very tart

    Underneath the christmas tree
    Santa left his soul
He said that his christmas cheer
    Was sadly unknown and untold

    Underneath the christmas tree
    Was santa himself
He said that he could not believe
That you were not an elf....
