Any one still friends with there ex.

Soo i have and ex and i'm his "friend" and he emails me ever day but at school he never act like a friend. so i was think how min. of you are still friends with your ex or not.

I am friends with almost all of them, we hang out, we write, we e-mail. If you are actually friends, there shouldn't be "he never act like a friend" in your story.

I'm friends with all 3 of mine, don't see them too often but when i do we stop and chat, its not a big deal

No, I barely know any of my exes anyore. I wasn't good enough friends with them then. That's why we always broke up.

If you were friends before and you end amicably, why not be friends after? I never see the point in throwing something away, just because you come to the conclusion that you are not romantically suited for one another. Maybe I just have not had enough awkward endings lol

*shrugs* I've tried it, I'm still working on building the friendship again with one of them and its been 2 years, took a while before I could even talk to him. Another one...its been 2 years also and its still to the point of needing a restraining order. I find it real hard to be friends with my ex's after we've parted ways, but then I've never had a relationship end on friendly terms. I always find it awkward and uncomfortable. They always seem to fall back into treating me like their still dating me to easy and I find all the memories to uncomfortable :P

I only have 2 ex's but im bestfriends with one of them and im very good friends with the other but we dont see each other much because he lives far away from me

Lets see..one used to be my best friend for like a year after we broke up...but then they found a new gf and kinda left all the friends behind, including me...

and then my ex, jimmy, we're friends. we arent really friends at school, but we talk a lot on the phone and such and we hang out from time to time.

my ex, logan...well..we dont really talk much anymore. but we WERE friends for a few months after we broke up the final time. [we dated 6 times], but he is going through a hard time..[homeless, jobless, etc] so its kinda hard.

then my ex jesse...haha. he was in jail for a yr and a half so we didnt talk during that time. but now we're myspace friends...and we've talked like...once...but thats it. so no, we're not.

so 2/4 isnt bad...

I dont hold anything against my ex, but we're not the best of friends. If i see him somewhere out of the ordinary i'll smile and say hi, but our conversations dont extend past that point.

Me and me ex are trying he said he didn't want to lose my friendship so he still texts me like every day and sometimes he calls me. but it feels kinda weird. and my other ex were really close but it took a year of him being a huge jerk to me but know hes one of my bestfriends

I've only had two ex's. I don't consider either of them "boyfriends" or what we had a "relationship" because I was young & we didn't last long (considering the fact that the first ex cheated on me because I wouldn't sleep with him & the second ex tried to hook up with another girl while with me also because I wouldn't sleep with him). As far as I was concerned I didn't want to remain friends with guys who didn't respect me. Besides, we never were friends from the start, our "relationship" was a fling & so were they.

my other exes and i dont hate eachother and if i see them ill give them a hug and a kiss on the cheek like i do any other friend

After break ups, no. But after awhile... I stop holding grudges. I learn to forgive and forget.

I am friends with some of my exes but I rarely talk/see them but I do believe it's possible to be friends with your exes but it does take time. Like the quotes goes if you can be friends you were either never in love or still in love with him. But hey if you can be friends then that's cool but if you still have feelings and what not, it's not a good idea to be friends.
