Problem putting him in the past

I was looking for a poem about you being in love with someone and than screwing up and its been so long they dont love you but you still can't get over them so basically trouble being able to get over someone even though you know they are not good for you

Erm... I think my poem, 'Falling Away With You' kinda fits the bill, but at some points it changes (like him screwing up, not you, and also the fact that the guy is dead in the end O.o)

So it's okay, but not great if you need it to be totally and utterly 100% specific.
