Cheap and Easy Meals

So basically, as a student, I have little money and little time. But in all reality, I can only survive on Mr. Noodles and bagels for so long. I'm sure I'm not the only person in the same boat... so.

Any ideas for meals that are inexpensive and easy to prepare?

    Pita pizzas
anything mixed with pasta or rice
    eggs
    wraps
    burritos
    veggie burgers
    hot dogs
    fast food $1 menu
    sandwiches
    Frozen dinners

And if you have a window sill grow your own herbs.

Rice with spicy peanut sauce got me through a lot of broke times in college. Having a rice cooker in the dorm made life easy.

We do stir-fry in the apartment pretty often. Rice and noodles are cheap. We just cook some of that in one pan, and fry a bag of frozen vegetables in a skillet at the same time, in a little bit of oil or butter. We also stir in some Lawry's seasoned salt or something similar for more flavor, and top the whole concoction with soy sauce. It's pretty quick, quite filling and decently healthy.

If you want to be REALLY grimey, peanut butter straight out of the jar. It works.

Well pretty much what everyone else had said, sandwiches, hotdogs, noodles, pizza rolls, tv dinners, micky D's dollar menu, taco bell is pretty cheap depending on what you get, eggos, cereal, ummmm yeah that's all I can think of right now lol.

    Oooh! I have some. :]

If you want good, healthy food, basically any kinda of pasta is good if you know how to cook it, because you can make a lot with little and all you need is a stove, (or even a mircowave) water, and pot. :]

I think its Wheat bread that's a lot cheaper then white bread so you could get that, its not only cheaper but its healthier for you.

BUY FOOD IN STOCK. Like.. get a lot of something (in the bigger containers, its normally a LOT cheaper then the smaller ones, get things you won't use too often but won't expire fast. Such as condiments, (ketchup, and such) they may not be used as often, but they can definitely make a bland meal taste good. :]

(I'm a cook... what do you expect? lol)
