Is there a significant difference, even if any.. between being in love/falling in love and saying i love you.?

Well there is always a difference, each thing means something different to everyone, some people say I love you like it is an everyday greeting lol If you are falling in love, I would say, generally that means you believe you are on your way to being in love, but are not quite there yet. Obviously being in love should mean that you are in love, which then leads to saying I love you, it's a progression lol

Like Beautiful Chaos said (and I can't see any better way to explain than she already has), if you're "falling in love" I would generally think that you believe you are on your way to being in love, but aren't quite there yet.

Naturally, "being in love", I would think, typically means that you are in love. Although you can love many people, you are in love with only one (well, for some people that is).

And, there are many people you can say, "I love you," to. Your parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, best friends, your significant other and yourself.

Yes there is and from personal expirence i just want to share that sometimes people find themself telling someone that they love them just to get it said back to them. when you are truely in love or falling in love you get a warm tingly sensational feeling that you would do anything for that person and you want to be with them for a long time. so there is a difference between saying i love you and actually being or falling in love.
