Poety, history and culture all bound by a simple word-graffiti.

Graffiti is an application of a medium to a surface, i myself pertake in this act and have since early childhood. I have always been interested in in the subculture, I've found many things in vandalism that relate to real life. Friends, trust, work ethic, art an respect.

Im shedding a little bit of light on this to those who beleive its mearly destrution of property. Did you know most citys have been embracing the art? Companys use it to sell their product?, It is the only artform created by youth to date. People have made their lively hood off of art/graffiti.

What are your honest thoughts on graffiti/vandalism?

and yes, i was arrested and prosecuted for my art.

I will answer any questions you have.

i want to hear your voices.

Pointless tagging, I say is a no no, it is usually not that pretty and it is costly, but for actual graffiti artwork, I think a lot of this work is amazing. There are some great artists out there.

Tagging is what started everything, if there was no tags there would be no pieces, burners or murals.

I'm not against graffiti, I think it is a great way to express yourself and wonderful street art which sometimes gives you a better perspective on life, gives you hope or keeps you wondering. Even so I think it is decent and respectful for this kind of art to satisfy the public, if anyone would like to take it on, I suggest they ask the person who owns the building or gets some kind of legal permission to do so, and also to keep the art free of expressions that might anger people or make them feel offended like bad language, remmember EVERYONE who passes by will have to look at it and it might not be appropriate for everyone to see, especially children.
I have seen grafiti in many places and it looks nice on buildings and very decorative, I would love to see my country a colorful one.
