You could sue for anything nowadays if you able to prove that they're at fault - don't expect it to pay out though. Its the county, they tend to have caps on how much you can sue the county for, at least they do here in North Carolina. I was ran over by a school bus four years ago, and I'm still fighting for it now. |

Your 16, your a new driver, and don't know how to drive in those conditions. You can't sue for something that ridiculous. The roads get bad and at times the plowers can't even get to all the roads and actually go over them fully until all the MAIN roads and highways where more people are, are cleared. In this past snow storm the plowers didn't even get to the street that i live on, they have higher priorities. |

Lol. Here in Ohio half of our highways don't know what salt is. They go all winter covered in snow and salt. So many counties claim that they've not enough money for the salt and there's tons of stuff going on beyond that. My county is fine with it, actually they're great with it. But, if you're going to go up north toward Springfield and stuff ... you'd better hope that there's no snow. |

I live in rural iowa, on a road that is one of the last plowed. i drive a rear wheel drive camaro and i've never had any problems, granted that i've had plenty of practice becuase when you grow up on a farm you learn to drive when you are 10. but you cant expect snow plows to get to all the roads instantly. there are millions of miles of roadway that need to be plowed... |
