Are you kidding me? yes weed fuckes up you head. as a freshmen in high school i was a straight A student i passed the high school exit exam the first time i took it as a freshmen. then i started smoking weed and then my A's slowly became B's then C's then i was getting D's and F's and i noticed this all started happening as soon as i started smoking weed and it took me 3 to 4 months after that to make my brain work normal again. and if you dont believe me then try it for your self smoke weed for 4 weeks straight then take a iq test while your high then go 4 or more weeks with out smoking weed and take another iq test and i know for fact you'll see exactly what im talking about. you dont realize if but weed does fuck up your mind if you smoke it everyday.

Try not to project your experiences onto others, i smoked everyday and i maintained a 4.0 gpa in high school with all honors and ap classes and the president's list in college. Some people are just not responsible enough to manage their time and marijuana serves as an easy form of procastination. it is a cop out, there is a time and a place for everything.

No if you smoke weed everyday then you know it isnt a cop out if you actually have the time to smoke weed everyday then you have a serious addiction problem like i did in high school but yeah i may have been a *** back then i can admit that but it made me a stonger person and do better with my life. ok maybe im being a little harsh. mayb weed doesnt effect everyone the same way i dont know i only know from my own life battles but thats me and my opinion.

Weed doesn't affect your mind unless you use too much, and if you don't know how to use then don't do it.

Rikki can you cite any legitimate source that states marijuana damages brain cell activity, or does any type of permanent damage to the brain?

You think some of these pill pushers out here are just innocent lambs Rikki? Just because you have a license to practice medicine, doesn't mean you do as you should, there are plenty of people out there benefiting from "legal" drugs, in a not so legal way. The reality is drugs will never be eradicated no matter what one side or the other has to say. Until we completely suck the life from this planet there will always be providers, users and abusers.

I can't be as closed minded Rikki, like everything in life there are certain degrees, someone who smokes pot once in a while is not comparable to someone who is addicted to crack and will do anything to get it. It might be easier to group everyone together, but easy doesn't mean right lol

One of the biggest farces in government is the "war" on drugs, how long has it been fought and where has it gotten us? Nowhere and it never will, it is just another way to suck up tax dollars.

Lol Rikki you can't deny that many gov'ts given money for the supposed war on drugs are in bed with the very criminals they are supposedly trying to stop. I could care less whether it is legalized or not, it is your choice what you do and do not put into your body and your going to make that choice no matter what anyone thinks or deems legal or illegal.

Under such circumstances do you still say "it is your choice what you do and do not put into your body"??

Regardless people are still going to do what they want to do and it is their choice, there is no way to remove that choice fully from their hands, they are still going to make it, it's free will. Coming from a large family with people who have let not only "illegal" but "legal" drugs and alcohol take over their lives, I make choices that are right for me because I know how I don't want to live or be perceived, but I can't make that choice for anyone else or force them to be who I think they should be.

Your argument presupposes that marijuana is harmful, which you havent backed with any real data other then your own limited perspective on the matter.

Most comments and opinions can be drawn out to ludicrous conclusions. By your comments i could conclude that all forms of dangerous entertainment should be illegal, as should driving cars, walking above a brisk pace, etc etc.

all i said is that i have yet to see any proof that marijuana is harmful and that i dont really understand why it would be illegal and classified with drugs that have serious ill's attached to them.
i havent really seen you say anything that really refutes that other then your story about some slacker friends that smoked pot and dropped out of school and the generic "drugs are bad mmmkay"
