Pretty girl of the sky, life forever passing by
In the chapel we were wed, then the great fire spread
Friends of old, and friends of new, sadness flows from me too you
Even though my eyes go red, in sadness, in dread, in sham, in my bed, in my sleep, and in my head
Even though my love is gone, my love for her will go on. -
