How do you break up with someone but let them down easy without it hurting them the most?

Sadly, i don't think there IS an easy way...no matter how you break up with someone, it will still hurt. i think that doing it in person hurts the least though..because i've been broken up with via text, email, AIM, and phone, and those made me feel i wasn't worth the time to get a real break up..thats just me though...they all still hurt

    ^ I agree.

There is no easy way to break up with someone without hurting them in some way. But I think it makes all the difference if you're respectful about how you do it; if you're respectful to them. For example, if they ask you why you're breaking up with them they have the right to know and you should be respectful enough to honestly tell them why. As well as it'd be best to do so in person and not over the phone, through a text, email or through someone else.

i agree with that. i was broken up with multiple times without given a reason. i hate that. because it could have been something that we could have worked on...if there was any interest to that is. but it's still nice to know WHY...

and ^ lol. you're so funny bob. =]

Oh well if you're having difficulty telling them, just make sure they walk in on you with someone else.

It's a pretty sure thing they'll leave you. No worries, eh?

He probably beat her up because he found out she was a masonic demon. Cannot stand her face. In fact he made it look a lot better.

^ Wow... Never in a million years would I ever do that, nor would I ever tell someone else to do so...

In my opinion, that's just cowardly, disrespectful & degrading.

I'm sure it was sarcasm too, haha, as well as crude & in bad taste.

Not a Chris Brown fan, let alone a R&B fan, so I have no comment. Lol.

I'm with say goodbye, just tell them why it's not working but don't mean. maybe just being friends with them will help. just be honest and sincere
