A Measure for Games Threads

I was just looking around and since I'm on a couple of forums I noticed something that might benefit this one.

That is, for games. People often seem to make fun and games threads with little purpose (not saying that's bad, mind) that rack up a lot of posts for one word.

These game threads are fun, however, perhaps creating a sub-forum with 'no post count here' would be perfect for such things. If that's possible.

I've seen it done before, and all, just thought this was the place to voice my thoughts.

I can understand that, but what I was referring to was having posts that don't add to the cumulative post counts, i.e you post but the 'posts' under your avatar remains the same.

Unless I didn't understand your meaning there.

Well, for a start, you get those awards and such for having lots of posts, which means that people who posts intelligently and have about 10 posts seem insignificant in comparison to people who post a word per post every 5 minutes and have a platinum.

Just a suggestion to make it fair to people who put effort in.
