Mike's right. The only way that you can know you TRULY love someone is when you love them more than yourself, thus caring about their happiness and well being so much that you want them happy-with or without you. Love is so rare these days, most people are just infatuated and they think its love, so I dont think that "if your in love, you just know." Some people are in denial, some people are co dependent, some are just pathetic lol. But you never know if you are TRULY loved back, unless they show you that YOUR happiness and wellbeing means more to them than them, and that is hard to test. Doubt doesnt mean that its not true love either, it just means your insecure and paranoid. Regardless most of the time in a relationship ONE person is more in love than the other, and is willing to get hurt by the one who cares more about themselves than the other person. True dedication of both partners is hard to find.
