GROUP POEM PROJECT (ADD SUBMISSIONS)

Hey y'all, my name's katrina

I wanted to write a poem...So I started thinkin of all the reasons I write...so far I got

"Secrets that I never speak, I write
Depressed and my body is weak, I write

Heartbreak and emotional despair, I write
When next to noone cares, I write"

After I started it really began to remind me of the Maya Angelou "still I rise" type stuff...but here is what I was thinkin!

I wanted to add other peoples reason for why they write...write like poetry, diary, anything...and my doesnt have to be depressing reasons, it can be anyreason. I want to put them all together and post it.

So: What do you think of the idea? SUBMIT A COUPLET! I would like it to follow the same form as mine. Ill see how this comes along to find out a date I should 'close the polls' or something like that. Its just an idea, let me know what you think.

hey 'just plain me' you are makin a good point but its okay, im probably goin to give it just a few more days and compile what i have and give everyone their respective credit.

Justplainme's right...why did only one person actually do a couplet...guys a couplet is 2 LINES of rhyme...eh umm how about try again!!

thanks again everyone, and now that i think about it its okay that the form wasnt followed because its from the heart. I will stop takin submissions on either wednesday the 9th or friday the 11th...not sure yet.

Tammy is officially one of my favorite people along wit just plain me, they followed the format that i had wanted exactly how I wanted! Not to go against anyone else but...yea...keep it up, I have decided that I will stop takin submissions on Friday early morning and put it together and post it on Friday Feb...11th I believe.
