if a poem gets lots of fives, but only one one, can it get enough five's afterwards to return it to a five rating, or does the one forever stop that? is the highest then a 4.9? just wondering :)

I think that what they mean is that does one 4 counteract 30 5's? It really depends on how far into the decimal point they are counting, there comes a point where they round up the vote or round down the vote, and if that point is reached it gets rounded up, so I believe that you can counteract a four with alot of 5s, because no one is saying that it is a mathematically whole and perfect number anymore, technically it can never be, but there comes a point where it doesnt matter because it is so miniscule.

I would be mightly suspicious of anyone who had a perfect 5 rating and say, more than 5 poems....it's just not right.

well you never know, but you know i think i said before that it would require a perfect human being to achieve that perfect rating ... but i was just curious ....

Bob was pointing out that it was an imperfect number and could never be perfect once anything but a 5 was added to it, you asked if it would ever return to a 5 and implied that because of the rounding system on the site you werent sure. Bob was being a smarty pants and pointed out the technical aspect, while you were just confused :)

Im a smarty pants too, notice??
