What it seemed like to me is that the cops, in this situation, with overblown egos did not like an intelligent person declining to jump through their hoops. While it may have been antagonistic of the guy to refuse cooperation with the border patrol it is also his RIGHTS under the United States Constitution to refuse to be questioned without a lawyer present or to be search with no probable cause. As far as the dog is concerned; that is the most obvious abuse of power in this whole scenario; instead of granting this person his rights as an American, they concoct a BS false positive alert from a dog. Every police officer associated with this should be fired, in my opinion. |
