How to move on...

Hey all i broke up with my boyfriend a month ago after a year of being together and i have personally decided not to date till college. i am not very patient so its really hard to not want a boyfriend what should i do

Just try to keep yourself busy so you'll get your mind off of him. It always takes time to move on. Don't worry it's not the end of the world, and you will eventually move on. You'll probably find a better guy anyway. I know you said that you won't date till college but people always say things like that. Stuff always happens, so you never know, a guy might pop out of nowhere and wow you. I know I'm making it sound easy, I know it's not. I understand how you feel because my bf of over 2 years broke up about almost a year ago, and that really hurt. But after that, I've become a stronger person and realize what I want in a guy. Amanda, I agree with what you said. It isn't really a cry for help.

You need to learn to be independent. If you want to date until you get to college then you have to learn to be patient. Don't go looking for guys.

Hang out with friends and if you dont got friends then make friends and go out and have fun and dont think about guys cuz at your age all guys do is get you in trouble. so b young and have fun. dont take relationships so personal if it was ment to b it would of been.

I don't have much to say but only one thing on my mind. It sort of sounds like you could easily find a date before the end of the week.

If you can get a relationship that easy, and you really want one, just do it. It's not that easy for everybody..

The thing is ... you lived so long without a boyfriend why do you feel the need to have one for the rest of your life? you will get no where..and you will lose yourself..

Your not here to love..your here to succeed and if you find someone that you love while doing so great...but please dont make that your only focus!
