Has anyone else heard about this?

I heard on the radio that in 2007, if you are a single parent you will have to pay a four thousand dollar fine. They won't even let you take you're new born out of the hospital until you've paid that fine. I think its crazy.

If they actually passed that law, do you have any idea how many pregnant women will be having their kids at home or not going for their prenatal check ups? Or having the babies at home and then... getting rid of them?

And If they pass that law, who pays the fine? The father of that infant? Right, if the father was around in the first place, there wouldn't be a fine. I hope that this is all made up, anyone know anything about it?
