    I want to start being positive and I want to learn to enjoy my life.
    I don't know where to start though...

    Well I don't know if I can really help but I will try.

    Start with finding who you are and what makes you happy. Then do it. Don't let things bring you down always look to the bright side. If you start getting down think of a way to let it out. Write, talk, something.

    Just know that people love and care about you. Don't dwell on bad tings, because that won't d anything but make the future worse. Know that if you left this world, alot of people would be sad. You have to come to terms with the mistakes you have made, and don't let them hold you back or define you as a person. You have to learn from them. It may be painful at times, and you may want to quit and when that happens tell a friend a family memeber,y ou can tell me if you want. Try to think about what makes you happy and focus on that. Try to perfect that thing. You're a stranger and I love you. I'm always here if you need a shoulder to cry on. Keep your head up hun. Nik

    After dealing with clinical depression I can share with you a few things. Don't ever ever ever hold things in you should talk with someone never let something sit on your mind. I think that a healthy body is also a key to a healthy mind...... Well sort of.

    You should be active it will provide you with a sense of accomplishment you shouldn't sit alone go for a walk join a club with the same type of interests as you.

    Those are just a few that helped me I would suggest that you figure it out on your own if that works for you.

    I had the same problem recently as well. Just look hard for the happiness and optimism in life. Once you find it, hold it with you tightly. Don't lose that sense of happiness and optimism. Try new things. Get some new hobbies, make new friends. Just look to the bright side instead of the dark and gloomy stuff in this world.

    The start is the hard part of all but try and find out who you are and try by not letting anything bring you down and stop you from being what you want or doing what you want to.

    I know that I can't dwell on things that have happened and to forgive and forget but somethings are hard to and you just can not forget them no matter how hard you try.
    I'm trying to put a real smile on my face but I can't tell which one is real and which one is fake any more.

    My bestie is the only one sticking by me as many do not understand what I have been through.
    it hurt me when someone who knew everything said they understood but when I broke down at her house one night she was like get over yourself and she never understood all along.

    I try to look at someone elses happiness and try to steal a glimpse of it and take a bit of their smile and put it on my face - if that makes sense?? - but sometimes it doesn't help at all.

    Next time Jehovah's Witnesses knock on ur door try listening. It really works. Helped me a lot, mostly during my cutting and pain stage. Just try, they won't kill u. lol ^.^
