I may be asking a completely stupid question but how comes there are two different types of members, or maybe more that i have not yet seen.
Whats a moderator? and how is it different to a member?

A moderator looks over the site, takes care of problems that members have, and countless other things that keep the site running. All sorts of stuff.

I just wanna say thank you to all the mods for keeping the site up and running. Without you guys, the site would be....*shudders*
But thanks again. You guys do so much. :)

How do you even become a moderator?? and do you guys get paid for doing this?

    Just wondering.

Moderators are volunteers, therefore, no we do not get paid, we do this for free.

When the time comes, we (the mods) analyze members of the site, see how you behave, handle situations that may arise, etc. then we discuss and and decide if you are a potential candidate for a postion, if we feel you are then you receive an PM asking to join our team.

Kinda like the legion of super heroes, eh? :D

But yeah, its true. Mods do not get enough thanks for how much they give to this site! We need to show our appreciation more. :) Thanks guys.
