Deathsdarkness: Depends on the use and extent of the profanity used. But yes, it is encouraged that you submit it under the explicit catagory.

InvisibleInsanity: Yes and no, depends on the guy. You can ask the same question about girls, do girls find a guys lack of trust annoying? Again, depends on the girl.

Most guys will probally say yes when they are at a younger age, but I've noticed that as you get older it doesn't seem to be as big of an issue, or at least from what I've seen. Now yes people will still question how much they trust someone, if they are cheating, flirting, etc. But in reality, that's life.

If you can't trust someone how will they trust you?

How do you feel about today's pressure on being beautiful, thin, and fixing all of your flaws with some type of plastic surgery? What is a young girl like myself supposed to do?

Forevertobeart: Now-a-days more than usual teens are laid back and act promiscuous, due to the simple fact of what they see and or hear. How many movies have sexual gestures and or sex in it? How many times have you seen commericals or series on TV that have sex/appearance affilated with it in some way, shape or form? Even on the raido, internet, stores, it is everywhere. You can't get away from it.

Have you ever heard, "Sex sells." Well look around at society today, that is all they are trying to sell. Now I don't just blame the media, I also blame the parents, for letting their teens watch to such movies at such a young age. I blame them for letting their children listen to inappropiate music at such a young age, use the internet (without security on certian sites), and so much more.

Back when I was a kid, we didn't have the internet yet (or at least it wasn't very big at the time), we didn't have cable tv (and when we did it was black and white and you had to change the channels by turning the knob on the tv), the raido wasn't filled with all different types of music, it was pretty general back then (almost all radio stations played the same stuff). Movies wheren't all about, "sex sells" they actually had a decent story line (even though the effects and way it was filmed was just ok).

What I am trying to get at is, now-a-days kids are more likely to act that way due to all of their surroundings, what they see and what they hear. How they where brought up has a big part in this as well I feel.

Do people think it is normal or ok in todays society? I would have to say yes they do feel that way for the most part. I mean in all due respect, look at what society as a whole is giving these kids, these teens, to watch, listen too, and/or read, it's all about sex, drugs, appearence, etc. No wonder todays society is messed-up (no offence).

Now people my age, or older, might think differently, for I know I do. I feel it isn't ok at a such a young age to be influenced by what one' sees or hears in todays society. I don't watch much TV anymore except for the news for it is flooded with unwanted and unnessecary sex, language, and drugs.

All-in-all, I believe it depends on the generation and age of an individual and how they where raised, of what they might feel is acceptable and not acceptable.

What is a young girl like yourself supposed to do? SIMPLE, Just be Your Self!!! Why be peer pressured into something you aren't? Ever hear the saying, 'if your friends jump off a bridge, would you?' well would you, I mean it is what everyone is doing right, so that makes it okay? Seriously, take a look at yourself, take a look at the inner you, you are you, don't ever change that. Just be yourself.

There are so many ways to become 'thin' or get 'better skin' or whatever it may be.

I want you to sit and ponder this quote from a very wise person, 'whatever the mind can conceive and believe the mind can acheive.'

If you can understand what that quote has to do with this, than anything is possible, never underestimate the impossible.

    "But I want bigger boobs!!"

Haha, jk. I appreciate the response. I sometimes wonder, though, if I'll ever get married. I see myself as okay in the face, a gross body with fat in all the wrong places, and too short; not attractive enough for a guy's expectations. I myself would never get plastic surgery, however, the TV shows, movies and celebrities make it almost tempting.

My next question: You have won a prize. The prize has two options, and you can choose either (but not both). The first option is a year in Europe with a monthly stipend of $2,000. The second option is ten minutes on the moon.

    Which option do you select?

Forevertobeart: Appearance isn't always everything. Sure it is a plus, but there are other qualites like personality...

Okay, well I've been to Europe before and plan on going back next summer with my brother and some of his friends. Money doesn't really mean much to me since it is just another object which people strive for and reck their lives. I would loving living in Europe for a year, but honestly, I'd have to say I'd take the second option and goto the moon for ten minutes. I did that Disney ride when it first came out (mission to mars) and it was intense, but I'm sure it is nothing like the real thing. That is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Living in Europe I could do anytime...

    No worries Amanda. :]

    Anyone else have any questions?

  • forevertobeart

Yes, and thank goodness, I consider my personality to be a good one! (But I could be wrong?) ;D

Your best friend is taking a nap on the floor of your living room. Suddenly, you are faced with a bizarre existential problem: This friend is going to die unless you kick them (as hard as you can) in the rib cage. If you don't kick them while they slumber, they will never wake up. However, you can never explain this to your friend; if you later inform them that you did this to save their life, they will also die from that. So you have to kick a sleeping friend in the ribs, and you can't tell them why.

Since you cannot tell your friend the truth, what excuse will you fabricate to explain this (seemingly inexplicable) attack?

Ever read those "Fan Questions" towards celebs?
Its like Joe is the celeb. :D

I was in work today, and I was working the til so I gotta be all nice and friendly to the customers, right?
My boss is very into the whole make the customer welcome sorta thing, anyway today in work a guy came in and he was very..irritating. Making inappropriate comments about me. The guy I work with had to turn around so he didn't snap, but all I could do was smile and say thank you or else he'd prob complain about me being rude and people have been fired for that plenty. I dunno what to do when people don't deserve friendliness but I gotta give it?! Helppp Joe, before I kick someone in the nuts. :D

ASPHYXIATED: Lisa, the customer is always right regardless of if they are jerks, idoits, etc. Your boss doesn't pay you, the customers pay you, without customers there would be no store or service you provide. Just remember always be nice no matter what the situation, they are whom pays you, not where you work.

  • ASPHYXIATED

Thats what I've been doing, but isn't harrassment a different topic all together? Its hard to be myself when the customer is a pig. D:

Ryan: You are getting into politics now, that is a whole different issue within it self. Sadly, numerous Americans do not understand the full extent or where their hard earned income goes when they shell out for taxes. Taxes are the prices we disburse for government services. It is essential that we pay taxes if we want improved civic services. Raising money from taxes to pay for government services is not the single reason. Taxes levied on goods ranging from alcohol and tobacco aid in managing their use. Individual and estate income taxes not only increase revenue but as well provide the rationale of redistributing income. Remember, the three R's of taxation are revenue, regulation and redistribution.
