Tattoos!

The last time there was a thread about this was in 2005, so I think it's fair to bring one in.

Who has a tattoo on here and what is it of? Do you regret it? How bad did it hurt?

Me and my best friend are going to get our first ones together tomorrow [technically today lol] at 1:30 pm.

I'm getting a heart with thorns around it and in the heart is says Ddiau Caru, which is True Love in Welsh [i'm 50% welsh]

my best friend is getting "No day but today" with a rose. =]

We went around in class once and asked each student what they would get if they could get any tattoo, I was so surprised by everyone's lack of creativity. Most students said stars! Everyone has stars, you know? I think if you're going to get a tattoo it should be meaningful, like yours. If I were to get a tattoo, it would probaby be a meaningful phrase to me, and I'd put it on my wrist. Where are you getting (or where did you get) yours done?

i would not get one of a family member or a loved one because if they left you or died it would hurt like hell

I dont regret getting mine, I have my nephews name on my upper back.... hes my lil angel... very special child... so thats why i did it...
but I dont regret it...
I am going to get more done...

If you mean where on my body, both of us are getting it on our left shoulder blade [it wasnt planned that way, just happened, haha best friends think alike =p]

and if you mean where like as in what store its Charlies Tattoo, which no one has probably heard of because it isnt famous or anything, but ive seen how they do. lol.

on a side note, my best friend's dad just got a tattoo covered up he didnt like anymore, and he got it done by someone from L.A. Ink. i'm so jealous. if he got it done by Kat i'd be most jealous though =p

Oh, I did mean where on your body. :) I think tattoos on guys are attractive, but it depends on what kind of tattoo it is because some tattoos I have seen were terrible! Lol

Well i just got home. hurt? yes? badly? yes. unbareable? no. but i'm glad it's over...

both of ours came out SO good. and he really did exactly what i wanted even though i didnt do a very good job at discripting it.

and vikki's came out amazing.

only thing that sucked was we had to go one at a time even though we set up two appts for the same time. but it was ok. we survived. =]

I've always wanted to get a small butterfly or a saying like "viva la vida" on my shoulder, but not insaneley huge...just a tiny one.

Well, i decided that having a new tattoo feels a LOT like having a sunburn. its tender, sucks to sleep on, and feels just like a sunburn does when you rub/touch it. lol. but it looks good. people at work loved it!

but this one girl who doesnt like me [idk why shes my friend on myspace, but she is. lol.] was making fun of it. =[
