The Hunting Thread for Interesting People

Is there anyone interesting on here anymore? Who are you?

I used to come on here regularly a couple of years ago to chat to loads of Interesting People- some with dubious ideas about abortion/animal testing/porn/etc, others trying to be the next Jesus, a few keen competitors and epic battlers, and a desperate many crying out for help with terrible grammar issues. What active poetry there was.

The interesting thing about writing here is that there is no requirement for you to be interesting in reality. Your written words, if you are lucky, can magically do the work for you, especially if they are read by someone with words of equal magic.

So, go on, be interesting. Here, right now. Show us the scraps in your head. Write a poem about teabags and ladders. Argue about your flag. Go on a space safari and discover new planets. Describe your collarbones.

    It's a warm-up. Let's see what happens.

Abby, I'm sure there are lots of 'interesting people' on this site, but they just don't give the time or effort to distribute their knowledge. I remember a while ago we used to have debates, philosophical questions, etc. all over the 'main forums' but now they can't seem to waste their time to raise a question or a resonable debate. It's pretty sad really. The forums have gone to crap...

As far as writing 'unique' pieces about random objects, I've written poems ranging from bras to green tea to love to dark, etc. I must admit however that a majority of those writes were challenges given to me. (Liz being a big contributer, as well as a few select people such as Valedico).

You want random scraps from our heads? Well here you go:

Porous material weeps vivid opaque greens
surrounded by porcelain that acts like a well.
    Antioxidants consumed, floral aromas released,
you're steeping a teabag or at least it does seem.
