I will take "Walk Away"

Walk Away

We laugh, we talk, and we play
And all I think about is you at the end of the day
We hang out and spend time together
You even gave me your coat in the bad weather

I know you have a girlfriend and you like her a lot
A Valentine's necklace for her I helped you spot
I always listen to things I never wanted to hear that you love about her
I help you with the problems but me with you is what I prefer

You are so caring with your kind hearted smile
She is sweet and all but can't you just stay here awhile?
And when you find someone that is your perfect portray
I will force myself to smile, congratulate, and just walk away

You need me and I come running expecting the worst
I get there and ask what's wrong but you kiss me first
Passionate and meaningful but I don't understand
We looked at each other and recognized the unplanned

Talked for awhile and everything was clear
Everything was out in the open, nothing else to hear
Broke up with the girl but still didn't want me
I understand and am alright although I disagree

We still stayed friends even after that night
He still makes me move forward, he's my light
And when he finds someone that is his perfect portray
I will force myself to smile, congratulate, and just walk away

Held up by all these weak beams

I only think of you when I'm drifting into dreams
You only cross my mind like a river bed and a stream
I only remember you at intervals of every hour or two.

I don't miss you when I'm out with my friends.
No I surely don't miss your cute little hands.
I don't miss the way you felt in my arms.
Don't miss your smile, your wit, or your charm.

I don't lay awake as you dance through my head,
Never have I relived any of the sweet things you said.
Surely I don't see your face in strangers on the street,
Never have I ever hoped that we might accidentally meet.

Concluding what I'm trying to say, trying to make clear,
I obviously do not think of you now that your not here.
Moved on with my life I swear it's true, yeah I've found someone new,
